we came here whilst i was on a short holiday for some dinner & drinks, and it was nothing short of perfect! they had a large selection of games which you’re welcome to take opposite outside (as long as you keep an eye on game pieces!) and we played some new / favourite ones. the drinks were gorgeous, very punchy and flavoursome! the food was utterly yummy, cooked to perfection and we savoured every last bite. will definitely be coming back here & sitting inside next time to play the consoles!
We had my son’s 9th birthday party at Loading Bar Brighton this morning and I honestly can’t rave about it enough. The whole vibe was just so good...chilled, fun, wholesome, and totally stress-free (as a parent, that’s the dream). The staff were incredible! Kind, relaxed, super helpful, and genuinely just good energy all around. The three team members working today were total legends and made everything feel effortless. Please give them all a raise and a high-five from me! The kids had an absolute blast, and even the parents hopped on the games. Lots of laughter and only minimal (post milkshake) chaos. It was such a feel-good morning and something really different. Highly recommend for birthdays! Thank you so much to the team, you made our day
Such a cool, cosy, and fun place. Only downfall is the booking system isn’t clear on what games are available. It would be helpful to know when booking if you can reserve PlayStation games, or Nintendo games, etc... rather than being given one you might not enjoy, then not being allowed to change it.

Come to Brighton for the day with the kids and after a fun filled day on the pier, Sea-life Centre and a stroll on the beach it was time to find somewhere to eat. We found loading and it looked like a really fun place for the kids, upon entry we were welcome instantly by really friendly staff and sat at our table and they even helped the children find a game to play! Food came out quickly, hot and tasted delicious, the selections of drink also pleased the adults. Would definitely return on our next trip.

It was by pure chance that my sister in law, our 2 eleven year old boys and I came across Loading Bar this evening. Having never even considered a games cafe/bar I had literally no expectations, but wow, what an impression it has left. There were a wide range of really interesting ‘traditional’ style board games to try, numerous screens around the walls offering different eras of computer gaming to suit most ages and likes plus a decent menu. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun with the chatter of people playing their chosen games and buzzy conversations. However, the most notable thing for us was the wonderful guy who looked after us. Brad was super friendly, helpful and an all round nice man. All 4 of us passed comment on how lucky we were to have Brad as our host and that the world would be a better place if all hospitality establishments had a Brad. Keep up the fantastic work Brad and thanks for making my maiden voyage into the world of gaming places so memorable for all the right reasons.
First time to Brighton with my grandchildren and our black lab and we found this little gem while on the pier. It’s a great location, food was excellent and the staff were helpful and attentive. Everything looked clean and welcoming. Will definitely be back!
